STOP BEING PERFECT - BEING IMPERFECT IS NEW COOL

R
ACE TO PERFECTION
- Is equivalent to being a part of RAT RACE

Perfect- This word has locked us in a boundary, which we now fear of breaking. The race to being perfect is the source of all stress and tension in life. From schools to colleges to the corporate world, everywhere the teachers and bosses advice us to be perfect. Because according to them without being perfect you cannot compete with your counterparts and may lose in the race of life.

Can everyone in a class be ranked 1st???
Can everyone in a college get the same package in the same company???
Can everyone in a company get promoted to the post of Manager at the same time???

If the answer to any one of the above questions is YES, then you all should surely be a part of this race, RACE OF BEING PERFECT.

But if the answer to these questions is NO, then, please take a side from this RACE and read this blog.

Disadvantages of being a part of race to perfection -
  1. You lose your aim in life - when you want to be perfect, all you can think of is the result which is not in your control. Because if anything matter is the process and path through which you aim for a positive result. In the effort of being perfect, you forget your real goal in life and end up as a STRUGGLER.
  2. You cannot realize your real skill - running for perfection, keeps you stick to a single task in life. Once you have formed a thought of being perfect, you will keep on repeating the same task again and again, forgetting that there are many other things in life you may be good at
  3. You end up being an irritated and frustrated person - your idea of being perfect will be satisfied only when you compare yourself with others. So, you end up comparing yourself to everything you do and if you find someone better than you, you feel frustrated and irritated.
The definition of PERFECT is different for different people. The level of perfection that one wants to attain differs from person to person. So, when certain quality differs from person to person, how can you be sure of achieving it???
The moment you think of being PERFECT, that is the moment you confine yourself to a particular limit in any of the skills. Being PERFECT means you have set an image of that PERFECT PERSON, and the moment you reach that level, all the goals, aims, and purpose in life comes to a halt.

Instead of being PERFECT, I guess everyone should develop a learning attitude, which will help everyone to grow day by day, no matter what amount of wealth he/she has acquired, no matter what amount of success he/she has achieved. When we keep learning and growing, we, in turn, form an identity of ourselves.
No one can be PERFECT in life, not a single human being. The day we become PERFECT, the purpose of our life ends. We cannot possess every quality, we may commit mistake at one time or the other. Even the machines are not PERFECT, they also have a breakdown and produces error maybe at micro levels.
If you ever in future want to run the RACE OF BEING PERFECT then remember this definition of the word PERFECT.

PERFECT- Anyone who is true to himself/herself, and keeps the learning attitude alive till the end of life is called a PERFECT human being.

WHY YOU SHOULD START BEING YOURSELF AND STOP BEING SOMEONE ELSE!!!!

WE THE HUMAN BEINGS HAVE AN URGE OR AN URGENCY TO FOLLOW SOMEONE OR TO BE LIKE SOMEONE . WE DON'T BELIEVE IN OURSELVES. I really feel sad about the urgency that is being created among the people right from childhood. We all have been asked this question - " Ok, children tell me, like whom do you want to become when you grow up "??? Why is this question asked for !!!! For what reason do we ask a child this kind of terrible questions and put a limit to the child's infinitely limitless thoughts . The moment we try to become someone else or just be like someone else and start following someone too closely, there are just two possibilities from this - 1st aspect is, we will e nd up being exactly the one who we are following and not an inch greater than that because we already form an image or a limit of how we want to be  - if that person is successful and well established then you may see this as a good way of moving ahead in life. But wait for it. Don'...
